CONCEPT

Signum Supra explores magnetism as a latent architecture of space. Iron dust becomes an analog display on which the topography of a field is inscribed — a field the human eye cannot see and the human hand cannot feel. The name — sign from above / overwritten — refers to a paradox: patterns emerge „from above“ (magnetic field as invisible author), yet are simultaneously „overwritten“ (exceeded, rewritten) by the material itself, which never fully obeys.

Magnetic fluid is not a passive medium but an active co-creator. Particles cluster, repel, form ridges and valleys resembling geological formations or biological tissues — a trace of force that exists beyond human scale and manifests only through its imprints. This principle later appears in various scales and materials: electromagnetic fields of urban infrastructure, biometric signals of the body, satellite optics of planetary processes.
